Former 22 SAS operator and MI5 advisor Mick Hawkes joins Veteran Craig Harrison — the British Army marksman known for achieving the world’s longest recorded shot — for one of the most revealing military conversations ever filmed.
From SAS selection and the infamous Fan Dance, to Northern Ireland, the IRA years, the Falklands, Bosnia, and Iraq, Mick revisits a career that spanned decades of British military history — exploring resilience, leadership, and the realities of service both in and out of uniform. He recounts his time in Bosnia, where he and Billy Bingham were taken captive during operations, describing how they endured isolation and maintained composure under extreme pressure — experiences that later shaped his transition into an advisory role with MI5. Mick also reflects on serving alongside the men of Bravo Two Zero, including Chris Ryan, and working with international allies such as Delta Force, while examining the psychological impact of life in covert units.
Together, Craig and Mick discuss resilience, mindset, and mental-health awareness, as well as modern-day security challenges — including the recent Charlie Kirk incident and how elite units assess and respond to threats in today’s world. After decades of service, Mick now runs Hawkes & Co. — a specialist risk-management and security consultancy drawing on his experience in the SAS and MI5 to advise clients on leadership, crisis management, and operational planning.
Craig is the founder of The Maverick Survival School — a charity-driven organisation focused on resilience training, outdoor education, and supporting veteran mental health. 🎙️ Beyond The Scope delivers authentic stories from those who’ve served — from SAS operators and MI5 advisors, to veterans and front-line personnel who’ve faced adversity and found strength through purpose. Each episode explores mental health, resilience, and life after service through raw, grounded conversation.

The GOP just spent millions convincing its voters that mail ballots were safe, effective, and even—dare we say—patriotic. And it worked: Republicans closed the mail-voting gap in swing states and even outpaced Democrats in places like North Carolina and Arizona. But now, Donald Trump has decided to light that investment on fire like a stack of Dominion voting machines doused

Possibly the essence of the Steel Report?

Update to this: Trump landed with £300,000 costs after losing ‘Dirty Dossier’ case against Christopher Steele! Donald J Trump handed bill in UK court after he fails to prove former MI6 spy breached data protection law. And he has not paid it. Surprise surprise. Another scam…

Who would have thought it? A man who has his tiny hands on nuclear codes and who is Commander in Chief of the worlds most powerful military complex is at he same time weak and timid before another man who is simply brighter and in charge of a crumbling economy, a resourceful yet badly led military and who will not win the war he has engaged in since 2014. He just doesn’t have all the cards!

This ‘Tiny Hands’ man Trump deserves to be charged with war crimes, alongside Putin for the death of countless Ukrainians after Krasnov applied the Kill Switch to US intelligence recently. What bravery and one up to the KGB!

Former FSB officer Alexander Fedotov reveals the inner workings of Russia’s security apparatus — from political assassinations to the occupation of Crimea. In this exclusive interview, Fedotov says the order to kill Alexei Navalny was personally approved by Vladimir Putin and describes how FSB units coordinated the poisoning, choosing toxins “because they leave no trace.”
He recounts how the same command chain directed the 2014 annexation of Crimea, where locals were driven to polling stations at gunpoint and forced to vote for “joining Russia.” Fedotov details the FSB’s control over opposition leaders through constant surveillance — tracing phones, monitoring movements, intercepting messages, and turning activists into informants. Inside the service, he says, corruption is systemic, and loyalty to the St. Petersburg clan guarantees impunity. “If someone is useful, he lives. If he becomes dangerous, he dies,”
00:00:00 In Russia, everyone wants to be corrupt. If a person is needed, he lives. If he becomes dangerous or unnecessary, he dies.
00:04:15 I wanted something that really mattered… but when I got there, the reality turned out to be a bit surprising.
00:08:30 When it comes to targeting the opposition, the state will always find the resources. It’s one of the main priorities.
00:12:45 Once activists and leaders are neutralized, what’s left is a mass of people incapable of taking any initiative.
00:17:00 Poison is something that is often impossible to detect — it leaves a lot of room to maneuver.
00:21:15 His presence at work was simulated completely — his car arrived, his assistant stayed inside, but he wasn’t there.
00:25:30 People were told everyone who didn’t vote would be put on a special register. “We gathered up the people and drove them to vote.”

For nearly 40 years, Richard Moore was a career spy in the UK’s secret intelligence service. He was unable to tell all but his closest friends and family what he did for a living. When he was appointed chief of MI6 in 2020, that changed: The name of the person in the agency’s top job is the only one made public.
In his first interview since leaving the role in Sept. 2025, Moore talks to The Mishal Husain Show about managing China’s security threat, the psychology of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and why spies shouldn’t expect recognition.

Donald Trump
President of the United States (2017–2021, 2025–present)

Donald Trump was recruited by the KGB with codename ‘Krasnov’, claims an ex-Soviet spy in an article published by ‘The Mirror’, a UK Based ‘Red-Top’

A lot of Americans feel that AI churns out copious heaps of soulless excrement. In President Trump’s case, that’s exactly what the doctor ordered.
Trump’s latest masterpiece of statesmanship is an AI video of himself flying a fighter jet and dumping poop on protesters—because nothing says “leader of the free world” like a digital diarrhea diaper tantrum. It’s less political messaging and more toddler art project: finger paint meets fascism. Somewhere, a preschooler is watching this and thinking, “wow, what a child.”
It’s the kind of political messaging you’d expect from a man whose emotional range runs from rage-tweet to bathroom humor. The video’s goal is simple: to smear dissenters while giving his fans the thrill of watching their golden idol unload on democracy. It’s infantile, grotesque, and, totally on brand.
Some presidents build coalitions; Trump builds fecal fighter jets. The “poop drop” video isn’t propaganda so much as performance therapy for a leader who can’t distinguish governance from bathroom wall graffiti. America asked for leadership; it got potty time at Mar-a-Lago.
But, Anne Applebaum in The Atlantic argues that this isn’t mere juvenile trolling. It’s textbook authoritarian psy-ops with better special effects. Mock, smear, infantilize your critics so your own supporters won’t want to be seen standing next to them—“you wouldn’t want to be covered in excrement, would you?”—and presto, persuasion via humiliation. It’s the same playbook Putin and other strongmen have used for years, only now with cheaper CGI and louder outraged replies.
The stunt does three things at once: it mocks dissent, signals to wavering insiders that protests are toxic, and normalizes escalating abuse as “political theater.” From there it can go soft (protests fizzle), nastier (bureaucratic punishment and legal harassment), or—if protesters don’t blink—political organization and coalition-building that actually scares the regime.
Bottom line: Trump didn’t invent the authoritarian smear; he just put it on a Truth Social loop, added fireworks, and dared the rest of the country to join the circus. The question now is whether Americans will laugh, wade through the muck, or start building umbrellas.

Within days of experts warning that the White House ballroom project required careful deliberation, demolition crews were already chewing through the East Wing like it was an expired Trump steak.
Historic preservationists begged for oversight, process, and a schematic plan; the Trump team countered with its own design philosophy: get out of the way of our wrecking ball. The Society of Architectural Historians reminded everyone that the White House is a “national treasure.” The administration reminded everyone that pearls are for clutching, not for stopping “a bold, visionary addition” to history’s classiest foreclosure.
The 90,000-square-foot ballroom—nearly twice the size of the residence—is being “privately funded,” which, in Trumpian terms, means funded by whoever’s left holding the check. Critics fear the ballroom will dwarf the mansion; supporters insist the Founding Fathers would’ve loved a little more gold leaf.
Even conservative architecture critics admitted worry that the new addition might make the White House look like the world’s fanciest Atlantic City buffet. But Trump loyalists assure Americans that, once finished, it’ll be the most “beautiful, tremendous, and totally legal” ballroom ever built without a single review meeting.
So the East Wing falls, the preservationists faint, and America’s executive mansion gets its very own monument to unchecked ego: a metaphor in marble, mirror, and gilt (not to be mistaken with guilt, which requires a conscience).
