To help sell my home, I built a small, brochure-style website that includes lots of additional information for potential buyers.
While setting up the site, it became clear that a more “traditional” design approach simply wasn’t going to cut it…
I didn’t know precisely what I wanted the end result to look like, but I knew a basic navigation menu and home page weren’t a good fit.
And that’s when I turned to Focus Cards—cool design elements you can use to introduce specific items on your site.
These items can be anything! Pages, products, categories, courses…whatever you want your visitors to focus on.
Within minutes, it became clear that Focus Cards were a perfect fit for my new home page.
And after I made that determination, the rest of the site started to fall into place—breadcrumb navigation on interior pages, a custom template for one of the pages, and some Open Graph enhancements for sharing the site on social media.
A few hours later, I had a blazing-fast website with a clean, easy-to-navigate design that’s also delightful to use.
Here are the components I used to build this cool little micro-site:
• Focus WordPress Theme — https://diythemes.com/focus/
• Focus Content Style Classes — https://diythemes.com/focus/docs/cont…
• Focus Cards — https://diythemes.com/focus/cards/
• Breadcrumbs Box — https://diythemes.com/breadcrumbs-box/
• Open Graph Box — https://diythemes.com/open-graph-box/
